Once I stepped out of the heaviness of burnout, something remarkable happened: clarity. Not the loud, dramatic kind — but the gentle clarity that arrives when you finally stop forcing yourself into places that don’t fit you.
The moment I began mixing English with coaching techniques, I felt alive in a way I hadn’t felt in years. Everything that mattered to me — learning, guiding, sharing insights, connection, empowerment — finally came together in one place. It didn’t feel forced. It didn’t feel like “work.” It felt natural, like I had been walking toward this quietly my whole life.
So I started small. A simple English club. Saturday mornings. A handful of women who wanted to practice English and talk about real-life topics.
We weren’t just practicing vocabulary — we were talking about courage, self-doubt, confidence, work challenges, dreams, identity, and the challenges of being immigrant women in Quebec. We shared stories, laughter, frustrations, and breakthroughs. And I watched something beautiful happen:
Women opened up. Women supported each other. Women grew — in English, yes, but also in strength, self-awareness, and confidence.
It made me realize something important: My talent wasn’t just in teaching. My talent was in creating safe spaces where women could think, express, reflect, and transform.
This wasn’t just an English club anymore. It was a circle. A space where language and personal development met.A place where women felt seen, guided, and encouraged to take steps forward in their lives.
And suddenly, it became clear: My mission was not to be a traditional coach. My mission was to help women — especially women like me who came to Canada with dreams and doubts — find their voice again. In English, yes. But also in life.
That’s how ComfyLearning was born — quietly, humbly, from the desire to make learning feel human, warm, comfortable, and meaningful.
Looking back, it all feels so perfectly connected:
Teaching led me to instructional design.
Instructional design led me to burnout.
Burnout led me to rediscovery.
ediscovery led me to coaching.
Coaching led me to my mission.
And my mission led me to create the spaces I wish I had when I was navigating all my own life transitions.
Today, ComfyLearning is not just my business; it is an extension of who I am. It represents my voice, my values, my lived experience, and my deepest desire: to help women rise into their confidence, their voice, and their leadership — in English and in life.
